Music

[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”19px”][vc_column_text]From the very beginning of THE MEETINGHOUSE (in 1998), Dr Moody has used the traditional Shaker tune SIMPLE GIFTS in the arrangement by Aaron Copeland in-bedded in his classic “Appalachian Spring.”

We are looking for other versions of this famous tune, and we invite any composer or arranger to send in versions in any musical tradition, such as jazz, opera, rockabilly, rock and roll, or hip hop. We will feature you on this web page with a link to your web site (and other works) and weave your version of SIMPLE GIFTS into our radio program for one to four weeks.[/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”19px”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css_animation=”” row_type=”row” use_row_as_full_screen_section=”no” type=”full_width” angled_section=”no” text_align=”left” background_image_as_pattern=”without_pattern”][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”34px”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
